Sponsorship Service Representative

JOB SUMMARY:
The Sponsorship Service Representative is responsible for executing the elements of the packages of the Lugnuts’ sponsorship partners. This intense position includes implementation of our contractual obligations of our sponsors and serving as their advocate in the ballpark, proactively monitoring package performance and working with all team departments to guarantee the successful execution of the custom designed packages. Qualitative service and timely execution are important. This service-oriented position involves event planning, drafting value worksheets, timelines, invoicing, payment tracking and drafting contracts for each sponsor. The SSR also manages ticket issues such as reserving suites, season tickets and picnics for each sponsor, and ticket deliveries.

The Sponsorship Service Representative works closely with Ownership and the Marketing department. The Sponsorship Service Rep is required to work regular office hours, as well as at the majority of Lugnuts’ home games, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Willingness and desire to learn

• Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment

• 1-2 years experience in event coordination at professional or internship level

   

START DATE: ASAP

COMPENSATION:
Base salary and commission commensurate with experience.

The Lansing Lugnuts, Class-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, are heading into their 15th season “Going Nuts” in Michigan’s capital city. Featured in USA Today and on CNN for their successes, the Lugnuts make their home at beautiful Cooley Law School Stadium.

Built in 1996 for $20 million, Cooley Law School Stadium seats 11,000, hosts 18 suites, and features multiple private picnic areas. The park continues to be the key component in revitalizing Lansing’s downtown while providing fun, affordable, family entertainment to fans in Mid-Michigan and beyond. The Lugnuts play in a beautifully updated Cooley Law School Stadium, as the stadium recently underwent a $3MM renovation which features new seats throughout the park, suite and picnic venue updates, and a brand new bar and banquet facility called The Clubhouse.
